Bob Phillips

Vice President of Human Resources

Bob Phillips joined the Grass Valley Group in February of 2000 with 25 years of demonstrated results in the management and utilization of human capital.

Prior to Grass Valley, Phillips was Vice President of Human Resources for Tektronix. While at Tektronix he worked with the Organization and Compensation Committee of the Board of Directors to set the company's compensation direction, recommended changes to the Executive Compensation program, and recommended major changes to the retirement programs.

In April 1996, Phillips established a human resources consulting firm that was dedicated to providing assistance to firms who needed guidance in all phases of human resources support. He also worked at Intel serving start-up and general HR management assignments in Oregon, New Mexico, and California. He assisted in the development of the Intel College Recruiting program that netted over 1,000 hires in the first year of a multi-site recruiting effort.

Phillips has a BS in Finance from Arizona State University.
