Greg J. Wasche

Vice President of Engineering

Greg Wasche is responsible for engineering development for the Grass Valley Group. He moved from being director of engineering at Tektronix Inc. Video and Networking Division to vice president of the Grass Valley Group when the privately-held digital media company was formed in September of 1999.

Wasche's experience includes more than ten years of software engineering management. An expert in analog simulation, Wasche came to Tektronix from Synopsys Logic Modeling Group where he was director of research and development. He also previously worked at Mentor Graphics as the manager of foundation technology where his responsibilities included product development and delivery. The president and founder of Electrical Engineering Software, Wasche was responsible for product definition and implementation in the company which grew to $1.7 million in only one year. Wasche began his career as a Western region consultant with Dun & Bradstreet in Santa Clara, Calif,

Wasche is a member of IEEE. He holds a bachelor's degree in electrical engineering and computer science from the University of California, Berkley where he graduated with honors.
