Michael Cronk
Vice President, Marketing
Michael Cronk is responsible for strategy and product definition in
emerging markets for the Grass Valley Group, both within
and outside of the company's core broadcast market.
Most recently, Cronk has led efforts to accelerate broadcasters'
migration to digital non-linear based solutions for news
production. Cronk is also leading efforts to apply the company's
world-leading video expertise to new markets outside of
broadcast.
Previously at Tektronix Video and Networking Division (prior to the

instant replay and quick highlight package production and has been used
extensively by major networks worldwide and in major
events such as the Super Bowl and the Olympics.
Cronk worked with Tektronix for more than 10 years in various roles,
ranging from research engineering to marketing and
business management. He has extensive international experience, having
managed Tektronix's Video and Networking business
in Japan for three years.
Prior to joining Tektronix, Cronk worked at Toshiba's R&D Center in
Kawasaki, Japan in video coding research. He has a
