Peter Tarca

Vice President, and General Manager, Vibrint Products Division

Peter Tarca is responsible for the overall operations of the Grass Valley Group's Vibrint Products Division. The Vibrint™product line includes Vibrint FeedClip™, an interactive feed capture system; Vibrint NewsEdit™, a nonlinear, hard news editing system; and Vibrint NewsQ™, a low-cost news playback system.

Prior to joining the Grass Valley Group, Tarca was president and CEO of Vibrint Technologies, a developer of innovative solutions for digital news production. Before Vibrint, he held senior management positions at Windows software developer Micrografx and was a founder of a successful startup company, Astral Development Corporation. He brings with him extensive entrepreneurial, executive technology, and business management experience as well as a track record for building high-performance teams and delivering customer-focused, world-class solutions.

A four-year veteran of the U.S. Air Force during the Vietnam Era, Tarca has a bachelor's of science degree in Computer Science from Central Connecticut State University.
