Managing a Multi-Channel Digital Transmission System -- M2100 Master Control

The successful M-2100 Digital Master Control switcher will be demonstrated in two channel configuration with one channel under automation control from Aveco, one of our Profile partners. The second channel will be available for manual demonstration of the features that continue to make the M-2100 such a success.

Future Proofing the Routing System - Series 7500 Routing Systems

7500 Wideband and Narrowband frames will be highlighted with a range of enhanced control panels. The low cost SDI input and output modules will be featured in the 7500WB system to illustrate this cost-effective future-proof routing system. Engineering features of the router range will be emphasized, showing the ease of serviceability and reliability built into these systems.

Shared Storage

Key feature this IBC will be the announcement of shared storage capability on the Profile XP Media Platform, planned to ship later this year. A high-visibility 32-channel simulated video display will attract customers to this demo area to discuss the XP functionality including an SNMP demo and graphics describing both distributed and central storage architectures. This area will also include two interoperability demos, one involving SDTI transfers between an XP and a Sony IMX deck, the second demonstrating our XP MTS capability.

Archive Solutions for an Entire Facility - Network Archive

Media transfers between Profiles and a data library will illustrate our Network Archive architecture, using ContentShare Explorer user interface.

Modular Products

The new 8900 Series and 2000 Series Modular Products will be highlighted via an attention-grabbing graphics display similar to that at NAB, which will underline the wide range of modules now available. New 8900 products for Aspect Ratio Conversion and Audio Embed/de-embed will be launched at IBC. SNMP demos will be provided to illustrate remote configuration and fault-isolation. Anyone involved in system design must be encouraged to visit and re-evaluate our products in this area.
