Pennsylvania Cable TV Provider Celebrates One-Year Anniversary With Kalypso Switcher
SEC-TV uses next-generation video production center to distribute digital programming statewide
The Grass Valley Group today announced that Service Electric Cable
Television (SEC-TV) of Allentown, Pa., the first cable company in the
nation, has purchased a Grass Valley™ Kalypso™ Video Production
Center system. As part of a digital upgrade, SEC-TV has installed a
Kalypso system in its 30-foot mobile production unit, Mobile Unit 1, to
help create the programming it distributes to a quarter million cable
subscribers throughout Pennsylvania and New Jersey.
