Kent Cawthorne

Channel Development
Kent Cawthorne is vice president of Resale Channel Development for the
Grass Valley Group. He is responsible for managing the resale channel
across the Grass Valley Group's entire line of video servers, switchers,
routers, modulars, digital news production, and new media (Internet and
Digital Cinema) solutions.
Cawthorne is focused on meeting the company's commitment to work with
the company's resellers, OEM's and integrators by developing a program
that will ensure diversity within new markets, as well as within the
broadcast market.
Cawthorne previously served as the National Director of Distribution
with Sony's Business & Professional Group. He later moved to Miami where
he became the Director of Marketing, responsible for introduction of new
products, business strategy, and implementation in Latin America. Most
recently, held a national position within Panasonic's Security Systems
Group targeted toward key corporate accounts.
Over the past 20 years, Cawthorne has held various key sales and more
recently focused on resellers and distributor programs.
Cawthorne holds a bachelor's of science degree from the University of
Akron.
