Jean-Marc Hoffer
Vice President, EAME Operations
Jean-Marc Hoffer is vice president of operations for the Europe, Africa, and the Middle East (EAME) for the Grass Valley Group. He is responsible for managing the EAME sales force and resale channel across the Grass Valley Group's entire line of video servers, vision mixers, routers, modulars, news production, and new media (Internet and Digital Cinema) solutions, and for driving the continued strengthening of the company's highly technical and consultative sales team.
Hoffer will focus on the company's commitment to meet key media customers' requirements and driving innovation through technology leadership and close customer partnerships. This will be achieved through the company's highly skilled sales team, close work with strategic media clients, and the Grass Valley Group's EAME Engineering Design Center, which recently opened in Slough.
Hoffer previously served as the director of EAME sales and was responsible for all the Grass Valley Group's direct sales channels in the EAME region. During this period Hoffer was responsible for key accounts generating revenues in excess of $50 million.
Over the past 15 years, Hoffer has held various key sales, marketing, business development, and distribution roles at the Grass Valley Group and Tektronix, Inc.
Earlier, Hoffer worked as a civil engineer for the French Civil Engineering Consulting Company, Socotec, on projects in France and the Middle East.
Hoffer holds a civil engineering degree from INSA de Rennes, France and a Master degree in computer science and mathematics from the University of Metz, France.
